The Cape Epic is epic. I don’t have to tell you that. The name gives it away but just how epic it is showed the 8 days between March 19-March 26, 2017. The year that saw the first time in the history of the race that a stage needed to be shortened due to the extreme conditions. A race that would teach much just how much stronger than I though my head and body are.
This was definitely one of the really fun gigs. As a follow up of being the triathlon model for the Mercedes Benz V-Class shoot on Mallorca in March 2014 I got to organise, shoot and model the ‚fall shoot‘ in beautiful Copenhagen with Julian Schiemann as project manager and photographer and Emilie Koors Hoff as female model for the shoot.
Just getting out there scouting the city and it’s surrounding and suddenly seeing a place like with totally different eyes has been a real blast. Sure there was a serious lack of sleep but it was certainly well worth it.
It’s always fun to be working with friends, going on road trips and then every once in a while seeing the result of your work popping up in magazines and online ads. 😉
